When the app updates, you won't lose access to Teach Your Monster to Read as a whole. You'll still be able to play Teach Your Monster to Read — it will just be the new, improved version.
Like any app update, the older build is replaced by the new build when you update. We've updated the app many times over the years; this is simply another update, albeit a much bigger one. The old version will go away, but it's being replaced - users aren't losing the game; they're getting the updated version of it at no extra cost.
We know that change can be a big adjustment for some children. That's why we've carefully balanced what's new with what's familiar. Many of the things children already love, including monster parts, costumes, stars, and some favourite games and characters, will still be there, making the transition to the new game feel both reassuring and exciting. Progress will be migrated too, so players can continue where they left off from an educational point of view.
