Once the updated version of Teach Your Monster to Read is released, currently expected late 2026/early 2027, you'll be able to access it for free in the classroom simply by continuing to use and update the game. That's it!
We're on a mission to help millions of children around the world achieve their potential by making learning fun. With the new version of Teach Your Monster to Read, we're excited to make the game available free of charge to classrooms through our Free for Classrooms scheme, helping more children discover the joy of learning to read.
Every home app subscription helps make this possible. Alongside support from the Usborne Foundation, subscriptions help fund free classroom access, allowing us to bring Teach Your Monster to Read to more children and support their reading journeys. It's one of the ways we're working to make a positive difference through playful learning. Find out more in our Social Impact article.
The website will remain free for everyone, and anyone who has previously purchased the existing Teach Your Monster to Read app will also be able to access the new version free of charge.
