Existing customers who have previously purchased the legacy version of the app will have free of charge access to the new version of Teach Your Monster to Read.
For most players, you don’t need to do anything to switch to the new version. When you update the app, the new version will automatically replace the current version, and you should not be prompted to subscribe.
However, in the unlikely event that you are being prompted to subscribe, read on to learn what to do next.
Are you logged into the correct account?
If you are being unexpectedly prompted to subscribe, it may be because you have logged into the app using a different Teach Your Monster account than the account you originally created when you first purchased the app. For example, you may have originally created your account using email, but perhaps later you chose to Sign in with Apple or Google under a different email address. If you suspect that this could be the case, follow the steps below.
On the subscription screen, press the 'Log out' button in the bottom left corner.
Now press the 'Login' button, then choose the Teacher or Home tab based on your account type.
Use the login details/method that you originally used when you first purchased the app and created your Teach Your Monster account.
You should now be logged into the game without being prompted to subscribe.
If you have forgotten your password, read our guide and learn how to reset your password.
