How to Request a Refund for a Teach Your Monster App on iOS, Google Play & Amazon

Learn how to request a refund through Apple, Google Play, or Amazon, plus important details on refund policies and processing times.

Please note: This article covers how to request a refund for our apps. If you purchased a subscription to one of our apps and want to cancel it, the process is separate; you can learn how in our help article.

Requesting a refund

We understand that our games won’t be right for everyone and that sometimes a refund is necessary.

While we would like to provide your refund personally, the app stores generally handle refunds themselves. If you've bought one of our apps and would like a refund, you can request it from the app store where you purchased the app. Please read on for further information.

Purchased on Apple App Store (iOS):

Apple handles all cancellation and refund requests directly. We’re unable to issue refunds for App Store purchases ourselves.

To request a refund:

  1. Visit Apple’s Report a Problem page.

  2. Sign in with your Apple ID.

  3. Select the relevant purchase and choose 'Request a refund'.

  4. Select a reason and submit your request.

Apple will review and process your request in line with their refund policy.

If you require further assistance, you can contact Apple’s Support team directly.

Purchased on Google Play Store (Android):

For the first 48 hours after your purchase, you can request a refund directly from Google Play.

To do this:

  1. Visit your Google Play Order History or use Google’s refund page.

  2. Select the relevant purchase and choose 'Request a refund'.

Google will review and process your request.

If more than 48 hours have passed, you can contact us at [email protected] to request a refund. To process this, we will need your Order Number, which begins with GPA and can be found in your Google Play receipt email.

Please include 'Refund Request' in the subject line and your GPA number in the body of your message. Our team will review your request and respond as soon as possible. If a refund is approved, payments can take 7-10 business days to appear on your original payment method.

Please note: For subscription purchases, refunds are typically limited to the most recent charge.

Purchased a Teach Your Monster app on Amazon:

Amazon handles all cancellation and refund requests directly.

To request a refund:

  1. Sign in to your Amazon account.

  2. Go to Your Orders or Digital Orders (under 'Accounts & Lists').

  3. Locate the Teach Your Monster app or subscription.

  4. Select Problem with order or Request a refund.

  5. Choose a reason for your request and submit.

Amazon will review your request in line with their refund policies.

Please note that refund eligibility and processing times may vary depending on Amazon’s policy and your region.

If you need further assistance regarding your refund, please contact Amazon Customer Support directly, as they manage all Amazon Appstore purchases.
