Teach Your Monster to Read
In the current app, you can reduce the music volume via the cog in the top right-hand corner of the play screen, as seen below.
You can adjust the music volume by sliding the volume bar at the top of your settings screen. To turn the music off completely, slide the volume bar all the way to the left, as shown below.
On desktop, you can click the monster icon in the top left and the music icon in the top right to turn off the music settings.
Reading for Fun
In app, this works the same as Teach Your Monster to Read. Go to the cog in the top right-hand corner of the play screen and reduce the volume from there.
On desktop, there isn't currently a way to turn off the music.
Number Skills
There are two ways to reduce or turn off the music in app: From the play screen or in the game itself.
1. From the play screen
Click the cog in the top right-hand corner of the play screen, enter an adult date of birth and click 'Game Settings'.
Once there, you'll see a volume slider you can set to your desired volume, or slide it all the way to the left to turn the music off completely.
2. In the game
When playing the game, click the pause icon in the top right-hand corner.
Then click the 'settings' in the pop up.
Then move the slider to your desired volume, or all the way to the left to turn the music off completely.
On our desktop browser game, it works the same! Go to the top-right 'pause' icon, click settings and reduce the volume slider as needed.
